Mr. Navid Papehn has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. His special expertise is in executive management, compliance, licensing & accreditation, and healthcare operations. His professional background includes experience in community healthcare, mental health treatment, and specialty services in diverse settings, including non-profit community clinics and outpatient and inpatient mental health treatment facilities.
Experience
Mr. Papehn’s activities often focus on corporate compliance, HIPAA privacy and security, business development and licensing including state specific regulatory issues of mental health, community care, and nursing facilities. He also has extensive experience in the development of market needs assessments and financial feasibility studies. Areas of special focus include Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, healthcare operations, business development and business planning.
Mr. Papehn has held positions as the Director for a network of non-profit community clinics and as the Chief Administrative Officer of a multi-site mental health treatment program. His work has included organizational leadership, staff development, financial oversight, as well as accreditation and regulatory inspections including for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and The Joint Commission (JACHO).
Mr. Papehn holds graduate degrees in clinical psychology from both Columbia University and Fielding Graduate University and is certified as a HIPAA Security Professional (CHSP).
